1. Open Mitel Connect on your computer (you must be on the WOL network or connected via VPN) 
2. Click on your name at the top to expand the window 
3. Click External Assignment Number 
4. Choose the number you want to forward your extension to from the dropdown list.  If the number is not in the list, proceed to Step 5. 
5. Click Add New Number 
6. Enter a Label and Phone Number.  Format the phone number (999) 999-9999. 
7. Change Number of Rings to Try to 7 and Automatically Connect from the dropdown.
