How to Block Spam Calls

 

  1. Open your Mitel Client
  2. Click on your name at the top of the window to expand it.
  3. Click on Settings.  It's an icon that looks like a gear on the top right side.
  4. Click on Call Routing from the menu on the left.
  5. Click Power Routing at the top.
  6. Click "Create New Power Rule".
  7. Type in a name for your rule.  Call it whatever you want.
  8. Under "When", click the green button that says "number matches".
  9. Enter the number you want to block in the box. 
  10. Under "Then", click "Forward Call To".
  11. Click the bottom radio button and enter 1004 in the box.
  12. The caller will be forwarded to that extension and hear a message that says, "Thank you for calling" and then the system hangs up on them.
  13. Click the green button that says “Create Rule”.
