How to Block Spam Calls
- Open your Mitel Client
- Click on your name at the top of the window to expand it.
- Click on Settings. It's an icon that looks like a gear on the top right side.
- Click on Call Routing from the menu on the left.
- Click Power Routing at the top.
- Click "Create New Power Rule".
- Type in a name for your rule. Call it whatever you want.
- Under "When", click the green button that says "number matches".
- Enter the number you want to block in the box.
- Under "Then", click "Forward Call To".
- Click the bottom radio button and enter 1004 in the box.
- The caller will be forwarded to that extension and hear a message that says, "Thank you for calling" and then the system hangs up on them.
- Click the green button that says “Create Rule”.
