1. Visit myaccount.microsoft.com
  2. If prompted, sign in to your WOL account with this new password
  3. Click on 'Password' on the left sidebar
  4. Enter the new password you would like to use.


Password Requirements


In accordance with security best practices from the Center for Internet Security, Word of Life IT requires passwords to meet the following requirements:

  • 14 characters in length
  • Includes three of these four items:
    • Uppercase letter (ABC)
    • Lowercase letter (abc)
    • Number (123)
    • Special character (!@#)
  • Cannot use 3 or more repeating characters from your name or username
    • Example: If your account name is 'jsmith' you cannot use 'jsm' or 'ith' in your password
  • Cannot be a previously used password
